DESCRIPTION: The long slide Glocks have an extended casing at the end of the recoil
spring guide rod interface near the muzzle. This additional material
isn't necessary and we can remove it with a nice bevel making the weapon
look more 'finished' and thought out. This is strictly a cosmetics
issue, it has no real functional purpose. The
proprietary coating on the stock slide will be removed at the serrations
during the milling process, thus bare metal is exposed. You should plan
to refinish the slide afterward. We offer Cerakote and PVD services
only for this option. If you require Cerakoting or PVD application,
please include that separately in your order.
SPECIAL NOTES: The other cuts seen in these photos are not part of this package, this item is just the nose undercut at the recoil spring casing at the bottom muzzle of the slide. This cut does not include refinishing of the
exposed metal, that
is sold separately.
RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES: Bare
metal is exposed when we provide this product, thus refinishing is
recommended to prevent rust/oxidation. Refinishing options and
associated cuts/parts are highlighted below in the Accessories section
